We offer some Year 11 and 12 students opportunities to participate in both Auspice and VETdSS courses through South Regional TAFE and ACTIV Pathways RTO, as a continuation of their pathways. The Certificate I in Business course is run over a full day with eight year 11 and 12 students participating in 2020. Both the year 12 students completed the course with the year 11’s due to finish their remaining competencies in 2021. In 2021 the Certificate II in Business has been offered to appropriate upper school students. These students run a successful coffee Enterprise in order to embed and practice these skills.
In 2020 ASESC continued a strong relationship with Southern Regional TAFE with three students participating in VETdSS (VET in Schools) courses. Two students successfully completed the Certificate II in Salon Assistant and one student attained 80 percent of competencies linked to Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management.
