Highlights and Celebrations

Unity days

Unity days are a unique aspect of our school.  Each term our whole school takes time to celebrate our community and engage in a series of fun activities together to promote a sense of belonging and identity. At the end of the year our unity day is also a celebration of the achievements of our graduating students.

Fishability

Some of our students have developed an interest and skill in fishing thanks to support from the Department of Fisheries. Students are encouraged to try the sporting recreational activity and discover both new self confidence and an amazing amount of fish.

Year 7 Swimming Lessons

Students gain essential swimming and water safety skills from two weeks of Education Department swimming lessons during school term.

ANZAC

Our Bush Ranger Cadet Unit volunteer their time on the ANZAC holiday to participate in the ANZAC Day march.

Upper School Dinner and Year 12 ball

Every year our Year 11 and 12 students have the opportunity to  attend the Upper School Dinner. At the dinner the students enjoy a delicious meal and social interaction with their peers in a semi-formal setting.  They also have the opportunity to attend and the Year 12 Ball in conjunction with students from North Albany Senior High School.   While the ball is a lovely opportunity for students to attend a formal event hosted at a function centre to celebrate the culmination of their schooling years.
